Sigma 1916 Board of Directors

As owners of the Cal Delta Sigma sorority house, and in support of our goal to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home for our collegiate members, Sigma 1916 enters into housing agreements to cover operating expenses, hires staff, furnishes & maintains the house interior, ensures the structural integrity of the building, and sets house rules, as needed.



Annika Carpenter, President

Annika pledged Sigma chapter of AOII in the Fall of 1983. As the daughter of two alumni, she has attended Cal Football games since 1973, witnessed “The Play” in all its glory, and still holds season tickets. During college she was an avid participant in sorority activity and has fond memories of intramural sports, exchanges, sunny afternoons on the deck, tutoring at Washington Elementary School, and year we won the Sigma Chi Derby. She held the position of Assistant Social Director while in school, and served on the Corporation Board previously before rejoining in 2019. Annika formerly served as Board Secretary before her current role as President of the Sigma 1916 Board.

Annika majored in Landscape Architecture, and now has a firm in Walnut Creek.



Victoria Cresswell, Vice President & Secretary

Victoria pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII in the Spring of 2006. While at Cal, she double majored in Political Science and Mass Communications. Victoria served the chapter as External Social Chair and Head of the Centennial Memory Committee during AOII Sigma’s Centennial Year Celebration in 2007. She lived in the chapter house for 2 years and continues to treasure the memories and lifelong friendships she made there. She joined the Sigma 1916 Board in February 2021. 

Victoria loves to travel and even relocated to England for a couple of years after graduation. She has worked in Business Development, Public Relations, Marketing, Event Planning and Real Estate. 

Victoria currently lives in New York and Massachusetts.



Caterina Benson, Co-Treasurer

Caterina pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII as a sophomore in the Fall of 1985 and was fortunate to live in the house from the spring semester of her sophomore year until graduation. While at Cal, she majored in Psychology and served the chapter as Ritual Co-Chair and First Vice President, as well as a member and eventual Co-Chair of Model United Nations. In the Fall, you will see her rooting the Cal Bears in Football and taunting the many friends from the Peninsula who went to the farm.

Caterina joined the Sigma 1916 Board in February 2017 as a member at large.

Caterina is a senior corporate paralegal specialist in the Peninsula mainly working with start-ups.




Janiele “Jan” Worswick, Co-Treasurer

Jan pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII as a sophomore in the Fall of ’82. While at Cal, she was fortunate to have seen the Play, and watch her future husband run the full length of the field alongside the players. In later years, she held her wedding reception at the chapter house. Jan is very excited to serve on the Delta Sigma Board, and is grateful for the dedication of the women who have helped sustain the chapter over the years. 

Jan has spent 30 years in the retirement consulting field, and her last position was on the executive team at Pension Dynamics, where she headed up Plan Administration Services and Documents. Past and current board memberships include: Treasurer of Carondelet High School Parents’ Board, Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church Trustee and Finance Minister, and Girl Scout Troop 32012 Leader/Treasurer.

Jan has a master’s in Taxation, and has relocated top Southern Oregon after living in Walnut Creek for many years with her family.



Reyhan Carcamo, Member at Large

Reyhan pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII as a freshman in Spring 2006. While at Cal, she served the Chapter as the Centennial Silent Auction Chair and Vice President of Administration, and also represented the Chapter as the Finance Officer and Vice President of The UC Berkeley Panhellenic Council. 

Reyhan is a corporate attorney and resides with her family in Southern California. 



Valentina Flores, Member at Large

Valentina pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII in the Fall of 2004. At Cal, she majored in Mass Communications worked at the communications department for the chancellor, Cal Football and as a nanny. At AOII Valentina served as New Member Educator from 2005-2007.

Valentina was on the Sigma 1916 board a decade ago, and recently rejoined in 2024. After graduating from Cal, Valentina worked in HR for Clorox, Bank of the West and AT&T. She also has volunteered for the YMCA and other community organizations. 

Currently Valentina is living and working in Benecia, CA with special needs children and families. 



Audrey Lundin, Member at Large

Audrey pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII as a freshman in Spring 2001. Audrey lived in the chapter house for three years and held various positions, including External Social Chair and Activities Chair. While an undergraduate, she was active in intramural sports and served as a team manager for the Cal Men's Basketball Team from 2002-2004.

Audrey is currently an environmental consultant.



Emily Rossi, Member at Large

Emily pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII in Spring 2010 as a sophomore. While at Cal, she majored in History and served on the Executive Recruitment Committee.

Emily currently lives in Massachusetts and is a corporate attorney.



Marisa San Filippo, Member at Large

Marisa pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII in Fall 2001 as a freshman, where she met some of her closest friends to this day. Marisa lived in the chapter house for three years and held various positions, including VP of Education and Chapter Relations Chair. She was also a Health Worker and served as the Sorority Coordinator for the program while an undergraduate. Marisa has been a member of the Sigma 1916 Board since 2015.

Marisa currently resides on the Peninsula with her husband and two children, and is a partner at a family law firm in Menlo Park.



Andrea Soria, Member at Large

Andrea pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII as a freshman in the Spring of 1992. While attending Cal, she served the Chapter as Rush/Recruitment Chair and Chapter President among other roles. In 2007, she began serving as the House Manager Advisor to the Chapter, and a few years later, became a Director of Sigma 1916.

Andrea is a lawyer who advises start-ups and early stage companies.



Sheree Miller Styrlund, Member at Large

Sheree pledged Sigma chapter of AOII in the Spring of 1983. She graduated with a BA in Architecture at Cal and a MFA in Theatre Arts (Set & Costume Design) from the University of Minnesota. After grad school, Sheree interned with the Television Academy in Los Angeles. Afterwards, she was hired on as Art Director for Days of Our Lives for 5 years where she eventually earned an Emmy Award.

Being a proud mother, Sheree became involved with the Girl Scouts as a Troop Leader and Volunteer at Day Camp for the past 16 years. She has led the craft unit at Day Camp for 200+ campers and has recently taken on a new role as Session Director in 2023.

Sheree has lived in the Bay Area most of her life and currently resides in Concord. She loves to travel but, when home, she loves going to the theatre or watching the Giants play baseball.



Julia Vindasius, Member at Large

Julia pledged as a sophomore to Sigma Chapter of AOII in the Fall of 1980.  She lived in the chapter   house for two years, served as an officer her senior year, and with many of her Sigma lifelong friends, became honorary alumni pledges of Delta Sigma in 2016.  Julia joined the Sigma 1916 Board in February 2024. 

After graduating from Cal, Julia received a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning at MIT, and then lived and worked in several states and internationally for many years. She returned to California in 2007 to raise a couple of great kids while working as a management consultant and program manager in a variety of industry sectors.  

Julia currently works as an IT program manager at the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank.  She still loves to travel, garden, cook, sing with a community choir, and is excited to be serving “Sigma” once again.



Katie Wickes, Member at Large

Katie pledged Sigma Chapter of AOII in the Fall of 2005. At Cal, she majored in Psychology and worked at both Yogurt Park and as a campus tour guide. Katie served as Recording Secretary and was on the Bylaws Committee while in the Chapter, and has previously served as Chapter Adviser and Administrative Adviser.

Katie was on the Sigma 1916 board a decade ago, and recently rejoined in 2024. After graduating from Cal, Katie got a second Bachelors in Nursing from NYU and a Masters in Nursing Administration from UCLA. Katie now lives in Marin and works as an Assoc. Chief Administrative Officer in hospital operations.
